SOSA CONDITIONS OF ENTRY – SURFBOARD GIVEAWAY

1. In these Conditions of Entry, ‘SOSA’ means Save Our Spit Alliance Inc ABN 36 012 072 458

2. Information on how to enter and prize details forms part of these conditions of entry.

3. Entry is open to residents of Australia only or persons residing within Australia for the term of the competition. Employees of KOMA surfboards and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. Entry is only valid if

• (i) the entrant is or has become and remains a valid SOSA Subscriber on or before the closing date and all details on the Subscriber Application Form are completed. In becoming a SOSA subscriber, the entrant consents to the terms and conditions of use of the SOSA website including as to content and receipt of subscriber emails (see Terms and Conditions); and
• (ii) a donation of $5 or more is made to SOSA using the PayPal facility on the webpage detailing the competition.

4. Limit one prize per entrant.

5. No responsibility is accepted for lost, late, unreceived, incomplete, inaccurate or misdirected entries, all of which are invalid.

6. Judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The judge is the President of SOSA as at the closing date.

7. All entries become the property of SOSA. SOSA as the Promoter reserves the right to use the content of winning and other entries for the purpose of future promotions.

8. The winner will be notified by email within 21 days of promotion closing date. Details of the winner will also be published at www.saveourspit.com. The winner is responsible to collect his or her prize from the address nominated by SOSA in or near Southport Qld within 7 days of email notification of prize, at his or her cost. SOSA is not responsible to deliver or store the prize beyond that time.

9. SOSA accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to prizes in transit or otherwise. SOSA and its representatives make no representations or warranties as to the quality/suitability of any of the goods/services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its agents, or its representatives, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by SOSA or any person to the prize winner. This clause does not affect, and is not intended to affect, any rights a consumer might have, which are not able to be excluded under applicable Australian consumer protection laws.

10. You must be 18 years or over to enter assessed at the time of entry or where under that age, have your parent or guardian’s consent to donate to SOSA and to enter.

11. In the event of that any prize item is or becomes unavailable, SOSA reserves the right to substitute a prize item of equal or greater value. Except with the written consent of the SOSA, prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. SOSA has absolute discretion as to whether it will provide such consent and need not provide any reasons to any person for providing or withholding consent.

12. Closing Date is 10 May 2008 or upon receipt of 200 valid entries, whichever first. Where circumstances so require in the event of insufficient entries, the closing date may be extended no more than one calendar month to such date as may be reasonably determined by the President of SOSA and notified to SOSA subscribers in advance.
