Dear Premier,
Re: Proposed Cruise liner terminal and taking of public open space.

I wish to object strongly to the Government proposal to allow a private development company to build a cruise liner terminal in the Gold Coast Seaway or anywhere else in the Broadwater. I further object to the Government's apparent intention to allow the private development company access to public open space or crown land for the terminal infrastructure and a substantial residential/commercial development as a trade off for the construction of the cruise liner terminal.

I believe that the Broadwater, Seaway and the public open space belong to the citizens of Queensland for their enjoyment and should not be taken from them for the personal profit of a development company.

My main concerns and objections to this proposal are

I request that your Government refuse this development proposal and instead protect our water and land based public open space forever.
